Hello world!

Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start writing!

The Founder’s Edition 2025 is made in partnership with [partner winery], a winery in [locality], Mehedinți County, near the border with Gorj, to the blend and method set by Iacobici for each wine. The grapes come from [the partner’s vineyards in …, Mehedinți County]. Until the Iacobici family vineyard in Godinești is replanted and in production, none of its grapes are used. The producer and bottler are named on the label, as EU wine labelling rules require.
Each wine, the red and the white, is limited to 1,000 bottles numbered by hand from 1 to 1,000. No further bottles of the Founder’s Edition 2025 will be made. The price depends on the number: Nº 1 to 100, Nº 101 to 400 and Nº 401 to 1,000 are offered at three different prices, and the wine is the same in every range. Within a range, numbers are allocated in the order in which purchases are confirmed; a particular number is guaranteed only once it is stated in your written confirmation.
Bottles shown on this site are digital renderings. Before release the label, the engraving printed on it, the capsule and the packaging may change; the name of the edition, the vintage and the numbering will not. Published technical details are indicative until bottling: each blend share and the time in oak or on lees may differ from the published figure by no more than 5 percentage points, and the final alcohol content will be stated on the label. If any change goes beyond these limits, or is otherwise material, we will tell you in writing before delivery and you may cancel and receive a full refund.
“100% reinvested” refers to the net proceeds of the Founder’s Edition: the amounts paid by buyers, less VAT, excise duty and the actual cost of making the wine (the partner winery’s production and ageing, bottles, closures, capsules, labels, packaging and bottling). All of the net proceeds are reinvested in Godinești, in this order: the Iacobici cellar and the land around the family plot (Founder’s Edition), the winemaking equipment and the first hectare of vineyard (Keystone Edition), and the winery building and rooms for visitors (Homecoming Edition). The founders take no dividends from the proceeds of the editions. If an edition sells more slowly than planned, the next step is postponed rather than financed with debt. Each year we will publish an account showing the amounts received, the costs deducted and how the net proceeds were used.
Every buyer receives a numbered certificate of authenticity and an Iacobici Founder card. Founder card holders are invited to tastings and events at the winery and receive the further benefits set out in our Terms of Reservation. Benefits are personal, reserved for adults aged 18 or over, subject to availability, and may be adjusted with reasonable notice. Buying the Founder’s Edition is a purchase of wine: it is not an investment and gives no share, ownership, profit or other financial right in Iacobici or its vineyard.
A reservation is not a purchase. The price, payment and delivery are confirmed in writing before any sale. We sell only to adults aged 18 or over and may ask for proof of age at confirmation, pick-up or delivery. Purchases made at a distance carry the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (OUG 34/2014). Complaints may be addressed to ANPC or through the SAL platform. Full details are in our Terms of Reservation.
Contains sulphites. The list of ingredients, the nutrition declaration and the alcohol content will be available before purchase and on the label or electronic label, as EU rules require. The Founder’s Edition is a wine without a protected designation of origin or geographical indication; any variety and vintage shown on the label follow EU wine labelling rules.
Costs, timelines, yields and labour on The Promise page are estimates built from public sources in October 2026 and will be replaced by actual figures. Climate and soil information on The Terroir page comes from a desk study: no on-site measurements have yet been taken, and the ratings are not a guarantee of results.
Engravings are public-domain works: Die Gartenlaube (1867, 1871 and 1882), Gustave Fraipont, Paul Bril, Richard Earlom after Claude Lorrain (1774) and other prints from the Rijksmuseum, among others. Ampelographic plates: Viala & Vermorel, Ampélographie (1901 to 1910). Poem: Ion Minulescu, Nu sunt ce par a fi (1936), public domain; English translation by Iacobici.

In honour of those who have lived, and those who will live, on these lands.
