A dry red blend, matured in oak. Rugged and profound, like the history it was born from. Fetească Neagră gives it its Romanian voice, Merlot its depth, Cabernet Franc its lift and Novac the dark colour of Oltenia.
Dark cherry and plum, a touch of spice from the oak, firm tannins carried by the freshness of cool September nights. A thousand numbered bottles.2
The blend
A blend we designed from our terroir study: varieties that ripen in the warm summers of the hills between Gorj and Mehedinți and keep their freshness through cool September nights. The grapes for this first edition come from our partner’s vineyards in Mehedinți.1
